Getting Here

Arriving by car


  • The Gite has parking for up to 4 vehicles
  • Be aware that the roads in the area are steep and (sometimes) narrow
  • The Gite is in the Hamlet of Larrit  - be aware that as with many small French villages, there are NO roadnames!
  • No vehicles over 2.5 tonnes can access the road that leads to the Gite


From Saint Cyprien approach, take the main road (D703) towards Beynac. Take the first Left (to Saint Vincent de Cosse) after the Chateau of Beynac comes into sight ahead of you (turning is opposite a parking area after passing a Yacco filling station on your left) and head up the road (the Chateau of Monrecour should be on your right hand side) into the village, passing 'The Moulin' sign and turning left (towards Larrit) at the Roman road (Voire Romaine). Follow the road until you see a blue gate on your left hand side. Welcome to Les Cannas.


From Beynac direction head straight through Beynac on the D703 and past the Chateau of Monrecour (on your right hand side). Take the first Right turning after passing the chateau de Monrecour (the turning is opposite a parking area) and up the road into the village, passing 'The Moulin' sign and turning left (towards Larrit) at the Roman Road (Voire Romaine). Follow the road until you see a blue gate on your left hand side. Welcome to Les Cannas.

  • Bergerac - 1 hour's drive
  • Brive - 1 hour's drive
  • Bordeaux is approximately 2 hours​

  • Le Buisson de Caduin is 17km (connections at Perigueux, Paris and Libourne)
